This report allows users to view schedule adherence. Templates can be created from reports and saved for easy future access.

8.37.1 Running a template report
Step Action
1. Open View Schedule Adherence application.
2. Select a template from the Select a template drop down list:
  • To delete the report template, click .
  • To email a copy of the report, enter the email address in the Email Report In HTML Format To input field and click .
  • To distribute report to vendors or supers, click . At the very bottom of the screen, you should see a list of vendors and supers, along with their contact information.

    Select to whom you want the report sent and click , or you can preview prior to sending by clicking . What you should see next is a notification message, informing you when the distribution will take place (similar to the example below).
  • To view the report in print mode and to print it out, click . Review the report and when you are done, click .
  • To view the report online, click .

    To create a duplicate of the report template, fill out the form located at the very bottom of the page. You can make this report template available either to all users or only yourself. Enter a new template name in the Save report as a template named input field, select user access (e.g. all users, only current user) from the For drop down list and click .

1. Open View Schedule Adherence application.

Report Restrictions
Project ID For which project do you want to view schedule adherence? Enter the project ID, or click on the link to find one. To run the report for more than 1 project, enter the project IDs, separated by commas, in the Project List input field.
Vendor ID For which vendor do you want to view schedule adherence? Enter the vendor ID, or click on the link to find one. To run the report for more than 1 vendor, enter the vendor IDs separated by commas in the Vendor List input field.
Super For which supervisor do you want to view schedule adherence? Select one or more supers by holding the key on your keyboard.
Mark Critical Tasks To mark a task as critical, select one or more tasks from the Non-Critical Tasks list box and click . Similarly, to unmark the task as critical, select one or more tasks from the Critical Tasks list box and click .

Critical Task: A critical task is a task that is deemed by the parameters in the report to be relevant to track not only that it COMPLETES on time but also that it STARTS on time.
Report End Date Specify the time span for your report by entering the report end date.
Report Year Start Select the starting date for your report (e.g. March 1, July 1). The starting date can be the 1st of any month.
Calculate Task Completion By Do you want to calculate task completion by Approved Date or Completed Date? Make your selection accordingly.
Exclude Lots of Type Select Model to exclude all other lot types from the report.
Display Options
Show Report For To include in the report supers, projects or vendors, select accordingly. Although, do try and narrow down your search criteria to reduce the loading time of the report.
Show Extra Columns Select the extra columns, if you want to include them in the report:
  • Overdue Tasks - Tasks whose scheduled completion date falls within the specified FROM-TO time period, but were not completed/approved on or before the scheduled completion date.
  • Approved Early Tasks - Is based on "Report End Date" itself (i.e. only 1 day). Tasks that are expected to start ON the date, but were already approved before Report End Date.
Show in Each Distribution To display a list of critical tasks in the report, select the List of Critical Tasks check box. A critical task is a task that is deemed by the parameters in the report to be relevant to track not only that it COMPLETES on time but also that it STARTS on time.
2. Fill out the Report Restrictions and Display Options sections of the form. Try to narrow down your search criteria as much as possible, to reduce the size and loading time of the report.
3. Click .
4. Here is an example of the Schedule Adherence report.

Tasks
Critical Tasks Selected by user from the list of all tasks.

Critical Task: A critical task is a task that is deemed by the parameters in the report to be relevant to track not only that it COMPLETES on time but also that it STARTS on time.
Non-Critical Tasks Any task not marked as Critical.
Time Periods
DAILY Report End Date date. Only one day.
WEEK-TO-DATE FROM Monday TO Report End Date.
MONTH-TO-DATE FROM 1st day of the Report End Date month TO Report End Date.
YEAR-TO-DATE FROM Report Year Start TO Report End Date.
For Each Time Period
# Expected Critical To Start Number of critical tasks whose expected start date is within this Time Period.
% Started On Time % Started On Time = (Critical Started on Time * 100%) / Expected Critical to Start
# Expected Critical To Complete Number of critical tasks whose expected complete date is within this Time Period.
% Completed On Time % Completed On Time = (Critical Completed On Time * 100%) / Expected Critical to Complete
# Not Approved Critical From all the critical tasks completed in this Time Period, count not yet approved tasks.
% Adherence Critical % Adherence Critical = ((Critical Started on Time + Critical Completed on Time) * 100%) / (Expected Critical to Start + Expected Critical to Complete)
# Expected Non-Critical Number of non-critical tasks whose expected complete date is within this Time Period.

A quantity greater than zero will appear as a link to a more detailed view. Click on the link to see a list of all expected non-critical tasks. For details, see View Tasks by Lot section of this training guide.
# Not Approved Non-Critical From all the non-critical tasks completed in this Time Period, count not yet approved tasks.

% Adherence Non-Critical % Adherence Non-Critical = (Non-Critical Completed * 100%) / Expected Non-Critical
% Schedule Adherence % Schedule Adherence = ((Critical Started on Time + Critical Completed On Time) * 100%) + (NonCritical Completed * 100%) / (Expected Critical to Start + Expected Critical to Complete + Expected NonCritical)
# Of Lots Number of unique lots for tasks included in the report within this Time Period.

FROM-TO date range for Overdue columns: Not related to any other report Time Periods. Completely independent.
# Overdue Number of tasks whose scheduled completion date falls within the specified FROM-TO time period, but were not completed/approved on or before the scheduled completion date.
# Not Approved Number of overdue tasks within the specified FROM-TO time period, that are still not approved.
% Not Approved This would be the # Not Approved DIVIDED BY # Overdue MULTIPLIED BY 100.
# Future Approved Is based on Report End Date itself (i.e. only 1 day). The number of tasks that are expected to start ON the date, but were already approved before Report End Date.
# Of Lots Number of lots that had tasks that were future approved.

To create a template from your report, fill out the form located at the very bottom of the page. Enter a template name in the Save report as a template named input field, select user access (e.g. all users, only current user) from the For drop down list and click .

If you intended to display different data and need to make some adjustments to the report, click and modify your restrictions.
5. When you are done, click .
